About French Education in Connecticut

Connecticut's entry in the national directory is King/Robinson Interdistrict Magnet School in New Haven, a tuition-free PreK3–8 IB World magnet that runs a 50/50 partial French immersion model. Students spend half the day learning literacy, social studies, and science in French and the other half in English.

The program is run in partnership with Yale University, the French Embassy, and the Université de Toulouse, and admits students by lottery from across the New Haven region. It is the only French immersion program listed in the state.
