This page lists every French immersion and French curriculum school in Missouri, all of them charter — each with its program type, tuition, enrollment and accreditation. It is one state of an independent directory covering 239 schools across 34 US states.
Every school here is a dual language program, following the American curriculum with the school day split between French and English. None follows the French national curriculum. Those flagged LabelFrancÉducation carry the French government's label for strong French programs abroad, awarded by the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.
Missouri's French-language schools are in two cities. Kansas City has Académie Lafayette, a French immersion charter school with two campuses (Cherry and Oak). St. Louis has Saint Louis Language Immersion Schools (SLLIS), a French/Spanish dual immersion charter. The two cities operate independently with no shared network.
What AEFE homologation, LabelFrancÉducation, the American accreditors and the International Baccalaureate each certify is explained in the guide to accreditations and credentials. For younger children, a separate daycare directory covers French daycares and preschools. The full national directory covers the whole country.
We hope you will find this directory useful, and please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions, comments or additional information on the schools listed here — or a school we are missing.
